Most spots/stains caused by spills can be averted if a spill is cleaned up immediately. If there are solids in the spill, use a spoon to remove the solids before blotting remaining liquid with paper towel. It’s always a good idea to flush the affected area with water (blot immediately with paper towel) to remove remaining residue. Retail carpet spot cleaners like Resolve or Folex can provide additional cleaning if needed.
